The P.T.O. has planned a special celebration of this year's Reading Theme.  We will attend a concert today to kick off the Reading theme!

Please order your lunch and wash your hands as normal.  Then you should update your reading status. Please visit the different tables in the room to sign up for various tasks.  The parent/teacher conference form is on the back table.  Please sign up for a time to discuss your child’s progress.  The front table has Room Parent/Volunteer information on it.  Please consider being a room parent or a volunteer in some capacity.  Your children are not too old to have you involved at school!  Please take a minute to watch the video your child made for you.  It should be ready to view on your child's iPad.  While you wait for me to begin, you can leave a note for your child.

Your first job every morning will be to complete your "Reading Status."  Today, you can do this by completing the slip of paper on your desk.  Do this neatly and completely.  When that is done, you can read quietly.  Your status should be done by the time announcements start.

Dear 4th Graders,

Hello and Welcome!  I am so glad to have you here in Room B3!  At this point, your backpack should be hanging on the hook and you should have washed your hands.  This is the first step of  your routine each morning!  Next, you should order your lunch.  Do this by moving your name stick to the correct area on the black shelf.

To find your desk, please walk around the room...you will find a poem on each desk.  Read the poems, and when you find one that you like, that is your desk.  While you wait for the next direction you should read the blue pamphlet.
