March 5, 2015

Hello Kind Kids,

I know we are going to have a great day.  You will get to see some one who makes you very happy.  Can you find the hidden clues in this letter that tell you who it is?  You will have to read carefully!

Please order your lunch, read the message and wash you hands like normal.  Next, please complete p. E13 I your Red packet.  After that, take a minute to organize your desk.  I noticed that many of you lost those two columns we talked about earlier this year- see if you can get them back!  Finally, those of you who are done, should work on the mixed number scavenger hunt.

__________, __________ and __________ will do a snazzy share.  Christopher will do the announcements.  You should all spread out your homework on your desk!

Kindly,
Mrs. Harvey

We have some serious "wrapping up" to do today.  To begin, I'd like to hear your play performance from last week's Storyworks work.  Please work with a partner or partners this morning to perfect your part.  I hope to have many of you share this at morning meeting.

We will also be wrapping up our essay and theme work from last week.  You will have a chance to do this during Daily 4 time today.

Please update your reading status and make sure your Books Read list is accurate.  I will be meeting with you today to check your list.  Next, number your spelling pretest from 1-20.  I hope to complete your pretest before Phys.
