Logan will do the announcements this morning. Sydney______, ___________ and _________ will share. For morning work, please complete the paragraph on page 3 in your yellow electricity packet. Be sure to use the following words: electricity, circuit, open/closed or complete/incomplete, terminal, battery, light bulb, and wire. You might also want to use: electrons, energy, conductor, atom, magnet, current, static, and safety. Once your paragraph is complete, please draw a picture that shows your electrical knowledge.

If all goes well, we should be able to get outside for recess today! I hope you are prepared! Grace D. will do the announcements. Grace C. will help with Wonder Wednesday. _Paige_________, ________ and ___________ will share.
Please take care of your first three today. After that, you should spread out your homework. Next, please find your Handwriting book. I'd like you to do page 9- this will show you and me what your can do with cursive writing so far. If you finish that, you can test some of the circuits on pages 3-4 in your white electricity booklet. As a space opens up, please work on this week's Measure it.

Today we will continue learning about verbs. While you are up doing your other work, please swing by the verb chart and add an action verb to the easel. You should also put your library books on the cart, order your lunch and wash your hands.
I hope to meet with you today to see how many books you read last month. Make sure your list is updated and accurate. Remember, you only get credit if you have the title, author and number of pages. Please update your reading status while you are at it. Finally, please work on the 2016 mobile you started yesterday. You can hop over to the round table to do the Measure It activity when a spot opens up.

After that, update your list of books read with any books you finished over vacation. Finally, please read and illustrate your new poem.
