D day
Happy Monday,
I look forward to spending this week with you. Today is D day. You will have Phys. Ed today. Please order your lunch and read the new poem on your desk. Once you have read it, please clip it in your folder after your 1st poem. Next, you should illustrate the poem by drawing pictures around the perimeter of the page. If you need to "shop" for a book to read, this is a good time to do so.
Today, we will learn a few more procedures. We will also continue to build our reading stamina. Will we beat our time of 10 minutes and 12 seconds? You will find out a little later this morning. You will have a chance to use the ipads to do some research. It will be a busy day.

Please order your lunch and bring your planner, take home folder and book to your desk. I'd like you to look through your expressions in your math notebook from yesterday. Can you add any new ways to make the various numbers? Circle your favorite expressions for each number!

A Day
Dear 4th Graders,
Hello and Welcome! I am so glad to have you here in Room B3! At this point, your backpack should be hanging on the hook and you should have washed your hands. This is the first step of your routine each morning! Next, you should order your lunch. Do this by moving your name stick to the correct area on the black shelf.
To find your seat, please walk around the room...you will find poems in many places. Read the poems, and when you find one that you like, that is your seat for now. While you wait for the next direction you should read the blue pamphlet.
Stefano will do the announcements today.
