Dear Students,

Hello!  Please order your lunch and wash your hands.  Next, you should cut out the words from the paper on your desk.  Use the heading cards to sort these words into the correct column.  Once an adult has checked your work, please mix them up and sort them again.

Hello Performers,

I have a new poem for you to practice.  Once you have ordered your lunch and washed your hands, please read the new poem.  You should then read it again, underlining the verbs you see.  Remember, verbs are action words.

Today, we will have a chance to work with the Merge Cubes in a new way.  I am excited to see what we can learn from these cool tools.

Please consider How Many from Delaney's and Harrison's pictures.

Kindly,
Mrs. Harvey

Happy Friday Friends,

I am glad to see you today.  Please order your lunch and wash your hands.  Once that is done, you should update your reading status.  Remember to make your writing neater than it was in September.  I also expect to see your details becoming more precise.  It's exciting to see the proof of your growth!

Yesterday, we learned about the European Explorers.  We will discuss more about these people who made history later today.  Does this topic interest you?

A day

Happy New Year, Students,

I am so glad to see you today.  I feel like it's been forever since I've seen you!
Please come on in, get settled and wash your hands.  You will need to order your lunch as well.

I can't wait to hear about your vacation adventures.  I will come to your desk as soon as possible.  In the meantime, please add any books you finished to your list of books read.  You should also take this time to tidy up your desk.  It feels good to start the new year fresh and organized!

Kindly,
Mrs. Harvey
