Hello Historians,

I am excited to see your work today related to the Revolutionary war.  It is time to start our last writing project of the year.  You will be the author of a chapter book before the end of June!  I can't wait to see what you create.

Please read the new poem and wash your hands.  You should also order your lunch. Once that  is all done, i'd like you to read the new poem again.  What connections do you have with this poem.  What do you know about it?  What does it make you think of?

We will discuss this later this week.  It might be something you choose to add to your book.
