Hello Chilly Children,

Come in where it's warm!  Please wash your hands, order your lunch and read the message!

I am excited about you starting your non-fiction article today.  I will show you how to do this during Writer's workshop this afternoon.  In the meantime, please complete page 11 in your blue math packet.  Once that is done, you can pull out your research on your topic.  (I think it is in your writer's notebook!) Read through it; see if there are any more facts you can add to your notes.  You will do more research during Library today.

__________Tre_______, ___Mark______, __________, __________, ________ and _________ will share 2 truths and a Fib.

Kindly,
Mrs. Harvey

Happy New Year All!

I am glad to see you back today.  I was missing all of you!  It's a new year and a new month; this means we have a new "word."  Put First Things First is our monthly expression.  You can learn more about it by reading page 62 in your planner, but FIRST, please complete the following:

Wash your hands!
Order your lunch
Read the message
Read the new poem and put it in your poetry folder
Set up your spelling folder for today's pretest

Once all of that is complete, you can check out p. 62 in your planner to learn more about first things first!

Kindly,
Mrs. Harvey
