Be sure to use the formula, A = l x w to show your work.  Also, don't forget to label your answer!  Once that is done and your homework is spread out, please put your name on your new Math Packet.  Then, you should do pages 2 and 4.  Finally, please work on Math catch up work: Angle video, geometry word cards, textbook pages.  For those of you who are done, please pass out papers.

Of course, you will do this after you order lunch, wash hands and read the message.  I also need you to spread out your homework.  This morning, I'd like you to work on catching up from yesterday's Math stations.  If you  need to finish your geometry word cards, please do that.  If your video isn't done, please complete that.  If you never finished your textbook work, finish that now.  Lastly, you can build your folder of Math words like Hudson did.  Those supplies are on the Reading table.

This week we learned:
I learned that to multiply you put a one under the whole number, then you multiply the numerators and then you multiply the denominators.  (Clara)
I learned how to add fractions with unlike denominators.  For example 1/3 + 5/6, you change 1/3 to 2/6 and add.  You get 7/6 and then change it to 1 1/6.  (Megan)
This week, I learned that when you are trying to do a hard problem, keep trying and try to figure it. You should get the right answer.  (Ben)
I learned that a unit fraction is a fraction that has a numerator that is one.  The denominator can be anything.  (Jackson)
