Hello Polygon Perfectionists,

I am glad to see you today.   ______, __Matthew                                     ______ and _______ will share.  Please order your lunch, wash your hands and spread out your homework.

We will continue to learn about polygons today; we will focus on the three sided variety.  Did you know there are six different types of triangles?  Here are their names all scrambled up:

girth      ssoseleci     lenaces     cutea     tubeso     laretaliuqe
right       isosceles      scalene      acute       obtuse   equilateral
Can you decipher any of these types of triangles?

Please solve this perimeter/area problem and then finish page 14 in your blue packet.  Finally, you can move to a must do Math activity.

Mark wants to get in shape by jogging around the rectangular soccer field.  It is 100 yards long and 50 yards wide.  How many yards does Mark jog if he goes around the field twice?

Kindly,
Mrs. Harvey
