Good morning,

Today is a somber day in our country as we remember some very sad events that happened before you were born.  I choose to remember with gratitude for our first responders. 

Lily will do the announcements today.  Please order your lunch and take your take home folder and planner to your desk.  Next, you can shop for a book if you need to.  Finally, please take a minute to add to your writer's notebook.  You can use one of the strategies we discussed yesterday.
