Happy Election Day,

It is an important day in our community.  There are many political races happening today.  We also have a special election in our classroom.  I appreciate all of the risk takers who have decided to run for student council.

Please update your reading status with details and pride.  Next, you should get your laptop.  I'd like you to spend some time this morning figuring out Paint 3D

Hello Workers,

I am glad to see you today.  Please come on in, order your lunch and wash your hands.  There is a new poem for you to read.  Once you have read it, please practice reading it again, improving your fluency.  You also might want to practice reading last week's poem if you are the one who has to perform it!

This week we will have a spelling test on "shun" words.  Do you remember the two different ways to spell the shun sound?  We will also be discussing different types of syllables.

Happy November,

I am guessing you are all a little tired today. My dad used to say, "You play, you pay."  This means you had fun last night, now you have to do the work today in your tired state.  I know you can get through it!

Please order your lunch and wash your hands.  Next, you should get your laptop and take a few pictures that represent your learning this week.  When  you're done with that, please check out gregtangmath.com.  There is a game called Kakooma that will help you practice your multiplication facts.  I will clarify how to play in a few minutes, but I bet you can figure it out in the meantime.
