Good Morning Girls and Boys,

I am happy that you are here.  Please order your lunch and wash your hands.  Next, you should get a square of paper from me.  On this square you should use a straight edge to draw and color in a polygon.  It can be any polygon you want.  The trick is, you have to be able to describe the polygon using mathematical characteristics.  On the back of the paper, use bullets to list as many characteristics of your polygon as possible.

When that is done, you can read the new poem and update your list of Books Read!
