Dear Math Experts,

Hello and Happy Pi day!  Pi is the 16th letter of the Greek alphabet, and it represents the number 3.14.  Get it?  3.14...3/14  that's why today is pi day.  If we have time today, we will learn more about pi day at Wonderopolis and Brainpop.  You can do some pi "experiments" by following the directions at this website.

Please order your lunch, wash your hands and read your new poem.  Next, you should look for your homophone packet that we worked on a few weeks ago.  If you don't have one, please sign the "I need a homophone packet" list on my desk.  Finally, please complete Quick Check 13-3 in your Math packet.

Korey will do the announcements.  ______, ______ and ________ will share.

Kindly,
Mrs. Harvey
