Hello Students,

Today is the District Budget vote.  You will see adults coming into our gym to vote either yes or no for our school's budget.  Be sure to be friendly to these guests if you have a chance!

In preparation for Thursday's NY state Science test, I would like you to review some measuring skills.  After you complete your three jobs, please visit one of the measuring stations and measure the items there.  Just like Thursday's test, you will need to read and follow the directions carefully.  While you are waiting for your turn, you can read and illustrate the new poem.

We will begin developing a character today for your realistic fiction story.  Be thinking about two people who you admire; this will help you create a character.
