Happy October,

It is a fun time of year with pumpkins, apples and costume planning.  I look forward to enjoying this time of year with you.  Eli will do the announcements.  Mrs. Landahl will be in today so we will not have share time. 

Please read your new poem and put it in your poetry folder clips.  Next, please think about last week's Mentor Sentence.  Can you please fill in the last box with a sentence of your own that imitates Kate DiCamillo's sentence...remember this sentence gets to be completely made up by you, but it should follow the pattern of "Rob floated through the rest of the morning."
