Hello Students,

I'm glad you're here today.  We have so much to do; I hope it will be fun work!  First, please order your lunch and wash your hands.  Next, I'd like you to read the new poem and put it in your folder.  Finally, I need you to go on a bit of a scavenger hunt. 

On your desk, you will find a slip of paper with a multiplication fact.  Figure out the product to the problem.  Next, take a walk around the room, looking for little pumpkins and other gourds.  When you find the one that has your product on the bottom, take that one back to your seat.  This is your gourd for the week!
