D day

Dear Scientists,

It makes me sad that we haven't fit in time for Science yet.  I hope to solve that problem today.  Please read the message, order your lunch and wash your hands. Next, you should pick up a blue science book from your black book shelf.  Take some time to browse through the book.  What topics are interesting to you?  What do you notice about how the book is organized?  Are there any experiments you would like to try?

Once you have browsed through the Science book, please take out your writer's notebook.  Please add an entry to your notebook.  Be sure to put today's date!

We have a lot to discuss at morning meeting.  Remind me to tell you about student council and our new seating arrangement.  _Melanie _____, _
